I got this almost a year ago. It holds a lot of meaning to me, but it seems a bit bland and I was thinking about adding something. What do you think?

I think you’re right—it’s just bland. Good idea but the artist just wasn’t putting effort into it.
Google “flower clip art” or ask any elementary schooler to draw you a flower. What will it look like?

One flower, two leaves, roughly the same size. It’s just unimaginative. Same with the brain: it’s just very literal.
Here’s what this could have been:

Or whatever. You get the idea. I’d bring it to an artist who does a lot of flower tattoos (and does them well) to see what they think. If you want to add more I think it’s going to be rough since the flower is so solidly colored in and the brain is so dark.
