So first off, I love my cupcake even though I’ve learned that a whole bunch of people have one a lot like it. But after having it for a few years I have noticed there are parts that are not as good as they could be (shading, shape of the frosting, and the outline). I would like your standard critique of course but I’d also like to ask; Is it possible to get those things fixed/changed even though it hasn’t faded? And is there anything you suggest that could be done to make it better?
Yeah, I agree it could have been done better. First of all, it looks kind of small and lonely smack in the middle of your foot. But there’s just nothing exciting about it: it’s kind of a literal cupcake. Like okay: yellow cake, pink frosting, generic sprinkles. It looks like something you got out of a box—not the amazing little baked good it is!
But, because it is in the middle of your foot, I’d suggesting adding some stuff to it! Going to someone who has a style like Guen Douglas might really help. Add a whisk, some candy… whatever you want. That way the rest of your foot can be interesting and, in turn, make the cupcake more exciting.
I can’t find anything from her work specifically related to this, but you can see how freaking cute this style could make a cupcake look:

Add a cute lil’ frame

All the cute things!!
